The Summit

The Official 2014 Regional Security & Stability Summit

HE Hussein Al-Majali, Jordanian Minister of Interior

HE Hussein Al-Majali, Jordanian Minister of Interior

His Excellency Hussein Al-Majali, Jordanian Minister of Interior, is pleased to confirm the official organisation of GovSec Near East 2014. Never has there been a more pertinent time to bring together leading government officials and captains of industry to meet in a secure environment and tackle the key security and stability issues of the region.

Minister Al-Majali and his high level team have extended invitations to ministers and senior officials from across the Middle East and in partnership with the organisers are ensuring the participation of top officials from the US Government agencies, the UN Security Council, EU and other important inter-governmental agencies playing a pertinent role in regional stability.

Normally such a gathering of high-level officials is set behind closed doors, but the purpose of GovSec Near East is for these officials to coordinate their strategies and procurement policies with industry leaders. Accordingly, as well as being uniquely organised under the patronage of the Jordanian Ministry of Interior, the summit is endorsed by the office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Planning & International Cooperation and the General Intelligence Department.

“The security summit was without doubt the most useful of such events I have ever attended. The format is perfect for bringing companies and clients together, organised in a thoroughly professional manner by people who understand our needs.”
JS, Country Manager Britam Defence

“Information & networking is more important than ever, especially in these changing times. The organisers provide a rewarding format and environment with an impact that can be put to use immediately.”
AS, CEO KADDB Investment Group

The summit will be hosted by HE Hussein Al-Majali and key staff who are ensuring the participation of counterpart officials from a dozen Near East countries. Attendance is essential for anyone wishing to have pre-scheduled private meetings with such important officials.Essential Attendance 2

“The security summit was nothing less than fantastic. The amount of personal attention and the ability to sit down privately with high level decision makers is the best we have ever seen on the international conference circuit.”
RB, Regional Vice President Endeavour/Beretta

“Thank you for the opportunity to engage with ministers and senior officials. With speakers giving an insight into their procurement requirements, the event was professionally executed and the meetings unique. The pre-arranged private meetings and additional networking lunches and dinners have offered us the most direct route to doing business.”
PM, Regional Director Area SpA

All participating delegates and summit partners will be guaranteed a series of one-to-one meetings with their chosen government ministries and international agencies. Over 30 private meeting roundtables will be hosted by the various attending ministries and government agencies.
